In the heart of Jefferson County, Missouri, Compass Health Network has achieved something remarkable. What was once a vacant supermarket is now a vibrant 61,000-square-foot health center in Festus, providing integrated care for the people of Festus and beyond.

The newly opened Festus-Truman Center brings together family medicine, pediatric and behavioral health, dental, and vision services under one roof. More than a medical facility, it’s also a gathering place for the community. With reservable meeting rooms, cooking class spaces, and inviting communal areas, the center is designed to promote wellness, education, and connection.

Meeting the Challenge of a Complex Transition

Transforming a large commercial building into a state-of-the-art healthcare center is no small feat. With tight timelines, evolving logistics, and more than 1,700 assets to manage, Compass Health’s facilities team needed a reliable system to stay organized from start to finish.

To manage the complexity of the project, the team utilized PropertyTRAK—its trusted CMMS platform since 2016.

Operational Readiness from Day One

As the renovation neared completion, Compass Health’s employees began submitting Service Requests to handle final setup tasks—stocking restrooms, hanging wall art, and ensuring every detail was in place. More than 90 percent of the site’s assets were labeled and tracked before the doors even opened. With the groundwork laid in PropertyTRAK, the facilities personnel could have confidence in the future of their maintenance program at the Festus-Truman Center.

Thanks to the hard work of the Compass Health team the building opened on schedule and fully operational.
